It's a good move for the Rockets. It became even more obvious after the game against the Pacers today. Beverly works better with Harden because he defers to Harden. Lin is best when he's aggressive. On the second unit, Lin can run the show and I think it will make for an interesting 1-2 punch especially when Asik returns.
This rotation could really take the Rockets far because you will have a deadly second unit if McHale is willing to expand his rotation. It would look like this:
This would be a deadly 10 man rotation that would pose a problem for a lot of NBA teams. This rotation could be a top 3 seed in the West. OKC and the Spurs would have to compete with the Rockets.
