James Harden leaves preseason game with knee injury

Soobum Im-USA TODAY Sports

James Harden suffered a knee injury against Memphis, and is out for the night.

Early in the first quarter of the Rockets' preseason game against the Grizzlies, James Harden took a shot to the knee and went down in pain. He went to the line and sank his free throws, but couldn't continue and headed to the locker room for further evaluation.

At this point, the Rockets have ruled him out with a knee contusion. Let's hope that it doesn't linger, as Harden may be the single most indispensable player on the roster right now.
