after getting hot in his few starts for rockets, Dmo has hit a rough stretch. in his last two games he went 7-15 from the field and he only collected two rebounds. was trading morris to free up pt for dmo was a mistake? upon closer look, 75% of his miss are from 3pt range, and last night he was spending most of his time in the perimeter. it's hard for him to get offensive rebound, when he has to camp out outside the paint.
The reason why he camp out was clear, rockets hardly gave him the ball in the post tonight. so he has to get out. i don't kmow was it was because of mistrusrs or a part of mchale's strategy.
how about the de defensive rebound? asik's dominance seems to be quite logic. To be nice to Dmo, parson's also has some of nights where he missed 6 3 pts shots. to be even nicer, at least dmo was very active in setting the screens unlike rockets's previous two pfs, sorry 2pat.
Imo, dmo should be given more chance, lucky for him trob, while playing with energy, wasn't impressive in defending david lee(unless if we also count his injuring of david lee). Moreover, mchale won't be impressed by another bad ft shooter.
