Teams that, by this chart, Rockets might have difficulty with is Miami, OKC, Denver, Indiana, Memphis, Dallas.
Got the idea to chart this from r/nba's swollencornholio, who made these charts:
The defense makes me lol. It also interests me that these Rockets seem to have the most problems with defenses that are extreme, not necessarily the best. there are of course the suffocating defenses of Memphis and Indiana, but the Hornets, the Spurs, and the Nuggets also give the Rockets the most trouble. (Or the Kings and the Bobcats lull the Rockets into a trap.)
I'm guessing this might be a factor of the Rockets being young and playing into other team's styles and games rather than maintaining their own style. So I'm hopeful that they'll fix some of this in the offseason.
Ugh, Memphis tho.
