considering the amount of time, energy and expertise that goes into reviewing players abilities for the draft, you would like there would be a lot less busts and more slam dunks...
but its a market with flawed information...
but everyone saying we should take X Y or Z players is almost 99 percent of the time kidding themselves.
Parsons and Manu went in the second round. Thabeet went with the second pick.....and everything in between
Maybe there are the one or two picks of players who for sure will be good, like when Lebron came out, but that is so rare it is almost negligible.
Even those who watch tons of college or int'l ball may know some about these players but the NBA is so different from those leagues that it is almost impossible to know how a player will react from moving from one until the other.
ok, I have said my piece....but I still think people are just fooling themselves when they talk about the draft
Didn't people on this blog think Whiteside was our answer to replace Yao?
