Amid all the excitement of Dwight, TJones summer play and Camby the Rockets have been seriously drained of 3 point shooting. Over 350 made 3's are gone from last season (Delfino 158, Morris 74, Douglas 61,PPat 35 and misc Anderson16 etc, etc) and none of the remaining roster makes as much as 39% of their threes. Are Casspi/ Canaan the answer? I guess the easiest answer is JH/JL/CP/PBev shoot more 3's, but that's means a LOT more. Rumors of Asik for Ryan Anderson make sense, but I think a very do-able move would be to get Steve Novak from Raptors as he's been shooting 42 - 45% from 3 in recent years. Looking at the numbers it seems like Hardens arms will fall off from shooting twice as many 3's as last year to make up the difference. Garcia? Looking at Spurs and Heat, 3 point shooting is critical for a long playoff run (Grizzlies won't make finals until they get consistent 3 point specialists). How about one of these PF's for Novak?
