With the season wrapping up today, the NBA released the playoff schedule, and the Rockets will host the Blazers in game one on Sunday night at 8:30pm CST. The schedule was good news on two fronts for Houston; firstly, the team will start on Sunday rather than Saturday, giving the banged up roster an extra day of recovery, and secondly, every game (at least of those announced so far) will be broadcast on TNT, keeping the Houston audience free of the dreaded NBATV blackout.
Here is the schedule in its entirety (all times CST):
Game 1: Sunday, April 20th, 8:30 PM in Houston
Game 2: Wednesday, April 23rd: 8:30 PM in Houston
Game 3: Friday, April 25th: 9:30 PM in Portland
Game 4: Sunday, April 27th: 8:30 PM in Portland
Game 5 (if necessary): Wednesday, April 30th: TBA in Houston
Game 6 (if necessary): Friday, May 2nd: TBA in Portland
Game 7 (if necessary): Sunday, May 4th: TBA in Houston
It promises to be a good series, and we will have a lot more coverage to come here at The Dream Shake. Stay tuned.
