On Sunday night, we were treated to an incredible fight between two very competitive teams. What we weren't treated to, however, was a Rockets win. Despite holding a ten point lead with less than four minutes left, the Rockets could not hold on and fell in overtime by a score of 122-120.
Dwight Howard tried his hardest with a big second half of his own, and Patrick Beverley played through what looked like a pretty bad knee injury, but it was not enough as the Blazers had a response for every move the Rockets made all night, and when the clock ran out, it was Portland that was celebrating on the court and not the Rockets.
Regardless of the result, it was an epic battle and indicates that we are in for one hell of a series. Sit back and watch these highlights, courtesy of CSN Houston.
Game two is on Wednesday night.
