Hey TDS, I'm a writer/contributor over at WCG, and create illustrations, photoshops and gifs relating to the Chicago Bears. Occasionally, I make artwork for other teams and players that I fancy, and wanted to share my latest 8-Bit titled, 'Super Lintendo', with you fine folks. You can see more of my random creations here.
In a hilarious turn of events, former Rocket Brad Miller is on the 2012 Houston Rockets team calendar. He's in there twice, actually, in April and October. It's fitting, as nothing better describes a Brad Miller journey through the lane like "spring" and "fall." A few questions: 1) What is happening in this picture? If that's the center court logo directly behind Miller, and if he's completely unguarded and shooting the ball mid-jog before approaching the three-point line... that makes total sense, right? 2) In actuality, Brad Miller is currently hunting for grizzly bears in an abandoned field behind a Super Target that swears is the "rogue Minnesotan wilderness." Probably.
The Rockets are so unnoticed by the national media that in this image they decided the put "Milwaukee Bucks" where "Houston Rockets" is supposed to be. Epic fail. Fuck you ESPN.
Matt Bullard was in my hometown of Corpus Christi Texas last night to cover the TAMU-CC Islanders v. Texas Tech Red Raiders game. I have floor seats and he passed by, I couldn't believe it. I told him I'm a big fan of his and he's the best 3-point shooter I've ever seen and got a photo op I wanted to share with you all. I also asked if we're going to see Terrence Williams play this year, "Free T-Will!" I said. He said if T-Will gets his head on straight, he definitely could be effective. It was such an honor to meet Matt Bullard. I think he is very intelligent regarded basketball and extremely fair with his play-by-play and I'm so happy I had the chance to meet him.
Apparently we gots us a new logo. What do y'all think? (Not sure when it went up, I rarely look in the corner)
