Rockets lay an egg in Canadian matinee

In a disappointing performance after beating the Celtics two weeks earlier, the Rockets fell to the Toronto Raptors in a Canadian matinee.

Dwight Exposed: Hou Jumps LA in 4th, 107 to 105

Greg Smith and Toney Douglas carried the Houston Rocket's offense to a fourth quarter win over the Lakers. Kelvin Sampson relied on "Hack-a-Dwight" and rode the bench to push the Rockets into the lead.

Rockets even series with Jazz, win 124-116

The Rockets even the series with the Utah Jazz tonight in Houston. Lin, Harden and, well, everyone in the starting line up played great from an offensive stand point.

FINAL: Thunder Dispatch Rockets, 120-98

If life was a sports movie, the Rockets would have won. For the real Rockets, it was an emotionally and physically draining day, playing the second game of a back-to-back on the road. Sadly, the better narrative took a backseat to the better team.

Rockets hurdle Raptors, 117-101

The Rockets continue their winning streak with a sound win over the Toronto Raptors tonight in Houston. Jeremy Lin and Patrick Patterson played their best games of the season and James Harden had 12 assists.

Bright future, inconsistent present, and a win.

Building that lead was simply a breathtaking display of what the Rockets can be, what they will be. But that hopeful glimpse into the future was the peak, and the Rockets spent the second half plumbing the depths of the valley.

LeBron pushes Heat past Rockets, 113-110

The Rockets brought their A-game tonight in what I'll describe as an eye opening display of talent. Unfortunately, the Heat brought a similar game - the kind of game that won them a ring - and LeBron James' second half performance won them the game.

Recap: Grizz Extinguish Late Houston Run

The Rockets lost their third straight game in Memphis tonight. Turnovers, transition play, and basic offense were all problems for the Rockets in their eight point loss.

Final Score: Rockets Fall to Blazers 95-85

The Portland Trailblazers handed the Rockets their first loss of the season. Houston had no answers for LaMarcus Aldridge (27 points, 11 rebounds) and James Harden "cooled off", finished with "only" 24 points.

Jeremy Lin Finds His Range, Rockets 108 - Magic 92

The Houston Rockets wrapped up the preseason with a commanding win over the Orlando Magic. The Rockets finished with 108 points to the Magic's 92.
