Power Dancer of the Week - Super Bowl Edition: Susannah
"Oh Susannah, don't you cry for me."
I've been slacking on slacking. Not that finding three pictures of cheerleaders per week isn't exasperating work, but I think I can muster up enough effort to do it weekly again. So today, we have a special cheerleader: Susannah - she's a Texan.
It's Super Bowl Sunday, so I thought it fitting to throw a football twist into this week's RPD of the Week. Say hello to Susannah, a second-year Texans cheerleader. Her second occupation is "Executive Assistant to the Vice President of a Title Company." Wow. As for hobbies, Sue's a movie buff: she likes anything from "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" to "Superbad." She's also quite the action chick; from skydiving to riding rollercoasters, she does it all. But she does one thing better than the rest: Sue dances like a pro:
You know what's funny? The picture below isn't an outtake from Not Another Teen Movie or Bring it On. I guess this is really what they do for fun:
Until next week. Have a nice Super Bowl Sunday.

Power Dancer of the Week: "Sweet" Susie
Photos Courtesy of NBA.com
We're going vintage on this edition of RPD of the Week after a brief hiatus. This week's power dancer is Susie Boudwin, who was an RPD member for six years before becoming the coach of the power dancers as well as the "In-Arena Host." For those of you that attend Rockets games, you may know her as "Sweet" Susie, as so delicately introduced by the great John Paul Stevenson.
Susie isn't just a dancer and entertainer; she's also really smart. From NBA.com:
Susie is a magna cum laude graduate of Texas A&M University, where she received her bachelors and masters degrees in Accounting, was a Gathright Award winner, a member of the University Honors Program, and the Professional Program in Accounting (PPA).
That's some mind-numbing stuff right there. So is this:
Fun Fact: Susie is married to Clutch, the Rockets mascot. No joke, how strangely perfect is that combination? And what a victory for Clutch!

Power Dancer of the Week: Stacey
Gentlemen, I give you Stacey. She's a three-year team member whose favorite dance style is hip-hop. Which makes sense, because her favorite RPD routine is "Baby Got Back." See below:
Want to surprise Stacey with a gift and hope for a Valentine's Day miracle? Get her a bottle of Juicy Couture - it's her preferred perfume. And if you want to up the ante, take her to Vic and Anthony's, her ultimate date spot. Who knows, maybe if you impress her enough, she'll do something nice for you in return. Like, say, this:
Yup, this one's a keeper.

Power Dancer of the Week: Carrie
I'd like to introduce you to Carrie, who looks like she's having fun in the picture above. She's a four-year RPD member and is this year's team captain. Unlike Julie from last week, Carrie has a job. She's a project controls analyst, and while I have no idea what that is, I'm sure she's good at it. Carrie, like nearly the entire squad, went to UH. Her favorite dance style is simply "jazz." She's also a Matchbox Twenty fan and her signature perfume is Burberry Brit. Hmm, expensive. That's what you should know, and here's what you need to know: Carrie is in the middle of the picture below.

Power Dancer of the Week: Julie
Meet Julie. A graduate of the University of Houston, Julie is a young, spunky girl whose favorite dance style happens to echo mine in "thrashy jazz." Her favorite movie is "How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days" and her favorite TV show is "Friends." Julie was a fan favorite last season, as she was voted to represent the Rockets on the 2007 All-Star Dance Team. As for her personal mission statement, she might as well sign up for Miss America '09: "Take pride in how far you have come and have faith in how far you will go." Isn't it cute? But enough of this - we need some visual evidence. In fact, chances are you didn't read any of that and instead skipped down here. Ah, yes:
