Game 28 Preview: Houston Rockets at Golden State Warriors

Meet the only NBA team with more injuries than the Rockets. Steph Curry has missed four straight games, but might play against us. David Lee has missed a handful. Andris Biedrins might be out. So forgive me if I butcher the lineups, because I bet even Keith Smart has no clue who is going to start tonight.

The season series is tied. Monta Ellis took the Rockets' collective lunch money in the first matchup, and was then shut down by Courtney Lee in the rematch. Hopefully, Sleepy gives Lee some serious burn off the bench to attempt to contain Ellis.

On a side note, I am currently in Orlando and will be here for the rest of the week. I should still be able to do the previews, but if anything comes up, I'll let you guys know via Twitter or something.

On to the matchups:

PG: Aaron Brooks/Kyle Lowry vs. Stephen Curry/Monta Ellis:

It might be Brooks. It might be Lowry.

It might be Curry. It might be Ellis.

It's probably even either way.

Advantage: Even

SG: Kevin Martin vs. Monta Ellis/Dorell Wright:

It could be Ellis or Wright. Either way, the Rockets have to hope that the Golden State shooting guard doesn't hit every 22-footer he takes.

If it's Ellis, we'll call it even. If it's Wright, give it to Martin

Advantage: Even/Rockets

SF: Shane Battier vs. Reggie Williams:

I'm putting Williams here and on the bench, so yeah. If Curry goes, then Ellis goes at the 2 and Wright moves to the 3, thus moving Williams to the bench.

I like Battier over Williams, but not over a Dorrell Wright that hits every long shot he takes. Though he is only shooting 39% right now.

Advantage: Rockets

PF: Luis Scola vs. Louis Amundson:

Amundson got the start in the last game for Biedrins.

Either way, Luis is better than them both. We just have to keep them off the boards.

Advantage: Rockets

C: Chuck Hayes vs. David Lee:

Lee will kill us. Make no mistake about it. He'll get at least 15 rebounds and probably have 10+ second chance points.

However, Chuck did play great defense yesterday. We'll see.

Advantage: Warriors

Warriors: Jeremy Lin, Rodney Carney, Reggie Williams, Vladimir Radmonovic, Acie Law

Rockets: Courtney Lee, Chase Buddinger, Jordan Hill, Ish Smith, Kyle Lowry/Aaron Brooks, Brad Miller

Advantage: Rockets

Warriors: Curry questionable (questionable), Brandan Wright out, Biedrins questionable

Rockets: Yao out indefinitely

Prediction: Rockets win by 7
