Dream Shakers,
We know there have been more than a few changes to the website in the past month, and I'd like to thank you guys for adjusting so smoothly (others at different SBN websites have not done the same). Hopefully the site has grown on most of you — I know I love the new layout and the versatility it offers me as an editor. And if you are still unsure about how to use it, email me at tmartin9495@gmail.com. I'll help you out.
But in addition to changing the layout, I wanted to bring on a few new writers in order to get more content on the page for you guys in a timely manner AND to provide some fresh voices. You've probably read Abel's stuff by now. Here are the other new guys you'll see roaming around from time to time:
Thomas Fenoglio -- Weekend Editor
Thomas is a native Houstonian — turns out he went to my high school — who now works in Washington D.C. for Vox Media. He's a longtime Rockets fan who helped start the blog Heart of a Champion with a few friends of his. ESPN's SportsNation came across the site one day and named it that day's "Site We Like" on the show. Not bad, eh?
Patrick D. Starr -- Staff Writer
I'm aware that Patrick's actual name is not that of the Spongebob Squarepants character, but for whatever the reason may be, you'll know him as such going forward. Patrick owns and operates State of the Texans, one of the chief Texans blogs you should be following if you're interested. He'll be stopping by these parts to get you guys the latest news and updates we can find on different stories.
Connor Huchton -- Contributing Writer
If you frequent the basketball blogosphere, Connor really shouldn't need an introduction, but I'll give him one anyway. He's a staff writer at the excellent Hardwood Paroxysm and also writes at Rufus on Fire and The Two Man Game. I knew he was also somewhat of a Rockets fan and asked if he'd be interested in posting here every so often. Obviously, he said yes.
Miguel Angel Martin -- Staff Writer
Miguel lives in Spain, yet he still manages to get his fix on American sports. He has maintained two Spanish sports blogs over the years, Padres Hispanos and Rockets Magicos. As you've seen on the front page, there is now a "TDS En Español" hub where all of Miguel's Spanish content will reside. If you have any friends, family or acquaintances who only speak Spanish or have trouble with English and yet, they still want to read about the Rockets, send them Miguel's way.
Say hello, everyone.
