The Rockets Close Out Preseason In Orlando

This summer the Orlando Magic cashed in the second most coveted asset in the NBA for Aaron Afflalo, Nikola Vucevic, and a couple of mid-tier first round picks. While the Dwightless Magic played surprisingly well in the 2012 playoffs they have yet to win a home game during the preseason.

Summary:

The Houston Rockets (4-2) are in Orlando, Florida to play their final preseason game against the Magic (2-5).

I expect the Magic to rely heavily on Glen Davis who earns a living awkwardly yet effectively throwing his girth around and Hedo Turkoglu's perimeter shot. Second year big man Nikola Vucevic is a good replacement for Ryan Anderson; both rebound well for their size and prefer to operate from 10 feet out or further on offense.

Patrick Patterson and Marcus Morris are still recovering from minor injuries. Both are expected to return to practice Monday or Tuesday.

Kevin McHale has one final chance to give some of the question marks on the team some burn before the regular season goes live but the word on the street is that McHale plans to run the regular rotation.
