Royce White practicing today in Houston

After missing the first week of the Rocket's training camp in the Rio Grande Valley, rookie forward Royce White is in attendance today at the Toyota Center according to Jason Friedman of Rockets.com.

White has been vocal in the media and on Twitter about the importance of being proactive with his anxiety disorder. At six foot eight and 260 pounds, White's passing and ball handling skills could be the greatest offensive weapon to come out of the 2012-2013 rookie class. That potential was worth the risk of Royce missing games to deal with personal issues for Daryl Morey and Kevin McHale.

Last week we got a few more details on the negotiations between White and the Rockets. While dealing with Royce's anxiety should be a priority, was it really worth Royce sitting out of a week's worth of practice so that he could take a bus to as few as six games?
