GameThread: Pistons in Houston

The winless Detroit Pistons, who started their season with a 105 to 96 loss dealt by the Rockets, will head to Houston tonight to try to even the count. Andre Drummond has really come alive for the Pistons; the ninth pick in the 2012 NBA draft had 22 points and 8 rebounds in his 22 minutes against the Thunder last night.

Questions to Consider:

With Kevin McHale out dealing with a personal issue, will Kelvin Sampson be able to get the Rockets to cut down on the turnovers and isolation play?

The Detroit Pistons do not have an established defender in their backcourt. Will the Detroit's lack of permitter pressure mean a return to dominance for James Harden who has struggled during his past three games?

Chandler Parsons and Jeremy Lin both had short spurts of greatness last night. Can Parsons and Lin string together two game-long solid performances against a weaker team?

Will the Houston Rockets listen to their starting poing guard when he calls a high pick and roll during an important part of the fourth quarter?

Details on Kevin McHale's leave of absence here.

Royce White and Scott Machado remain inactive tonight.
