Uber short preview tonight since it's the day after Thanksgiving and I'm just coming out of my food coma.
If the season ended today, Carmelo Anthony would be the MVP and the Knicks would be the team to beat in the East. Amare's injury has allowed Carmelo to take all the shots he wants, but he's also embracing the playmaker role that Mike D'Antoni tried to put on him last year.
J.R. Smith has seen a resurgence in his game due to less time in the club, and Jason Kidd and Raymond Felton have made Knicks fans forget all about that Jeremy Lin fellow.
Obviously, that's the story tonight, with Lin taking on his former club and trying to show that they made a mistake. Hopefully we get a Kyle Lowry-patented "Eff You" game out of Lin.
Prediction: Rockets can't run with the Knicks, lose 111-98.
