Early in the first quarter of the Rockets' preseason game against the Grizzlies, James Harden took a shot to the knee and went down in pain. He went to the line and sank his free throws, but couldn't continue and headed to the locker room for further evaluation.
At this point, the Rockets have ruled him out with a knee contusion. Let's hope that it doesn't linger, as Harden may be the single most indispensable player on the roster right now.
Check back here and we'll update you when more information becomes available.
Updates: All is well.

Best news of night for Houston: Sounds like Harden will be fine. Knee bruised, but not considered serious. Only news that truly matters.
