AK wrote a rather fabulous preview to this game earlier today. And you should go read it. But tonight our Houston Rockets are entering year two of the New Age era. Everyone is rightfully excited that we finally get our first glimpse of what the Rox may look like this season with Howard, Harden and Lin in the line up with a full health bar.
It'll be interesting to see if coach Kevin McHale is going to give us a preview of what he plans to do should Asik and Howard be on the court at the same time.
We'll also be interested in how the Read -and-React offense is going to do against a Pelicans team that added both Jrue Holiday and former NBA Rookie of the Year Tyreke Evans.
It begins tonight, gentlemen.
Now, too bad that most of use still will not be able to see this game. THANKS COMCAST!
Tip off is at 7 pm central time.
Other things to keep an eye on:
With McHale saying that starting positions are still open, Donatas Motiejunas and Krump enthusiast Terrence Jones will likely be rotating in and out of the power forward position throughout the night.
Anybody know if Camby is playing tonight?
Isaiah Canaan should get plenty of minutes in the second half, so (insert clever bible/basketball pun here).
There are still plenty of questions at the shooting guard position behind Harden. That Reggie Williams guy should get some looks.
