Each of the last few years, the Rockets all come together to sing "Dreidel, Dreidel, Dreidel," and that tradition continued this year as Dwight Howard, Chandler Parsons, and a number of other Rockets joined in on the rendition. The results, predictably enough, were terrible.
Even Omri Casspi, he of Israeli descent, couldn't manage the lyrics, and Aaron Brooks started singing the Animaniacs theme at some point. It's worth noting that this song is almost certainly never sung in Israel, but I would've expected more from the playa from Judea.
Also standing out for their awkwardness were Patrick Beverley and Donatas Motiejunas, who despite a triumphant finish to the song, probably sang 5 words in totality that match the correct lyrics. Dwight Howard tried his hardest, but the TJones-Superman duo left something to be desired in their rendition.
To all the Jews out there, have a wonderful Thanksgivingukah and hope you enjoy the song!
