This is yet another game the Rockets need to win. Should the Rockets win out (Kings tonight, Suns tomorrow, Lakers Wednesday). The Rockets control their own destiny, so if they go 3-0 in those games they are assured the 6 seed. Going 2-1 might get them in, but the Warriors get the Spurs on a back-to-back on Monday. Should the Spurs be out of the running for the 1 seed, they might phone that game, especially with it being a back-to-back.

Part of it might depend on who the Spurs want to play. They haven't lost to the Warriors at home in forever, so it might behoove them to still win the game to try to set up a 2-7 matchup with the Warriors. On the other hand, the Warriors did beat them earlier this season in the Bay Area in overtime. The Rockets are only 1-3 against the Spurs and needed a game-winner from Harden to beat them.

Prediction for tonight: Rockets take care of business, win 111-98.

Tip-off at 6pm CST.
