And there it is. It wasn't a Woj-bomb, but rather an Amick-bomb. Dwight Howard has spurned the Warriors, Lakers, Mavericks, and Hawks to join the Houston Rockets. And in one fell swoop, Daryl Morey's master plan to rebuild the Rockets in the post-Yao and McGrady era has entered it's next phase.

Here's Amick with his report:

Looking at the situation, it always seemed like the Rockets were the most logical place for Dwight Howard to land. He joins James Harden, Chandler Parsons, Kevin McHale, and whatever players Daryl Morey can put around them for the foreseeable future.

We'll have more to come on this and the corresponding moves that will obviously accompany this move, but for now, enjoy this moment. Daryl Morey finally has his free agent star.
