The Rockets suffered their first loss of the preseason last night, but with no Howard or Harden, there wasn't too much to take away from the game. We're still mostly looking at bench minutes and roster construction. On to the day's links:

Pelicans coach offers praise for Rockets’ Harden | Ultimate Rockets -- Monty Willliams, on James Harden, from Jon Feigen: "What was surprising about James was how hard he worked," Williams said. "I didn't know he was that hard of a worker. He sat beside me every day in meetings. To see how professional he was, how diligent he was with his business was surprising."
