The Rockets are 2-0, but the interwebs are strangely quiet with Rockets #content. We have enough to work with, though, starting with:
Patrick Beverley left the game with a strained left hamstring last night and didn't return. Feigen said Rockets think the injury "did not seem serious," but the cantankerous Beverley didn't offer any insights. "Don’t come over here with questions," he said. "I’m not answering no questions."
FanSided's Rockets blog says Big Papa is a natural. My assessment through two games: he's comfortable on the court and looks like our only offensive initiator off the bench. If he can continue to do that, everything else is a bonus.
James Harden and Trevor Ariza visited Julius Randle in the hospital Wednesday morning after the rookie's broken leg on Tuesday night. Classy guys.
Revel in the glory that is Big Papa eating up the Jazz.
I agree with Feigen on all his points, especially this one: "An injury to Pat Beverley would be a huge blow. Jason Terry has looked good backing up both point guards, but when the Rockets went with a backcourt of Terry and Canaan that had not played together, the offense bogged down. Before Beverley left the game with a strained hamstring with five minutes left, the Rockets had outscored the Jazz by 21 when he was on the floor."
