Video Highlights: Rockets dumped by Nuggets in late season loss

New, comments

The bench tried to pull their way back into this one, but the Rockets never led in a tough loss to the Denver Nuggets.

The Rockets took on the Nuggets on Wednesday night, and despite being without Dwight Howard, they seemed confident that they get the road win in Denver. That confidence, however, was to their detriment as they sleepwalked through three quarters before trying to make up the deficit in the fourth on their way to a 123-116 loss.

The game was not without highlights, however, as Troy Daniels, Robert Covington, and Isaiah Canaan, a trio of former Rio Grande Valley Vipers, lit up the Nuggets off the bench, sparking a late rally that nearly saw the Rockets climb back on top of the Nuggets. Daniels hit four threes in the fourth, Covington showed off an intriguing inside-outside profile, and Canaan keyed the offense despite a rough shooting night.

For the usual guys, Jeremy Lin had 18 points in the first half but none after the break as he dealt with foul trouble, James Harden had a rare off night with a 1-9 outing from the floor, and Chandler Parsons also struggled with his shot. Omer Asik collected yet another double-double with a 12 and 12 night for himself.

Anyway, without further ado, here are your highlights from last night's game, courtesy of CSN Houston!
