Patrick Beverley named to NBA All-Defense second team

The Rockets had a representative on the NBA All-Defensive teams today as Patrick Beverley finished third among guards in the voting.

According to an official NBA press release, Patrick Beverley has been named to the All-Defensive second team, marking his first such award. Beverley finished in third place among guards, falling just behind Chris Paul and Andre Iguodala.

Beverley plays an in your face type of defense that has impressed many Rockets fans but infuriated just as many players on the other side, but it is clear that his defense is well-respected from the voting. Here were the full results, courtesy of the NBA:
