The Rockets have a new uniform for 2014-2015 season. Bad news, it's not throwback and it's sleeved. Good news, it's improvement over the previous editions of special alternate uniforms in years past. Houston will wear a red sleeved-jersey that has 'Rockets' spelled out in mandarin (火箭) for three straight games during the Lunar New Year, as first reported by Clutchfans.com.

The 2015 Lunar New Year falls on February 19, 2015, and marks the year of the goat. The Rockets will wear the mandarin jersey on February 21 against the Raptors, February 23 against the Timberwolves, and February 25 against the Clippers on ESPN.

Clutchfans.com goes on further to talk about possible changes to the Rockets uniforms in 2015-2016, including two alternate jerseys and minor font and sholder cut changes to the primary jerseys. Of course there are limits on the specifics of the alternates, but one will include "Clutch City" and the other will be a sleeved jersey.
