The Houston Rockets announced in a Tweet that three point bomber Isaiah Canaan is coming back to Houston after two weeks in the Valley with the Vipers.

In four games with the Vipers Canaan averaged 21 points and 8.5 assists while shooting .349% from three. Canaan started nine games for the Rockets earlier in the season with injuries to Patrick Beverley and Jason Terry. The point guard's best games came against Sacramento where he scored 24 points and made six three pointers.
It's likely Canaan will see the D-League again, but hopefully the shooter can provide a spark of life to a Rockets point guard corps who has experienced a serious drop in offensive performance. It all depends on how much court time Canaan sees. With a healthy Beverley, Canaan barely saw the court.
