It feels like the preseason has been going on for months. Selfishly, as an editor, I want real games to begin so there are new things to talk about. We can only have so many Terrence Jones vs. Donatas Motiejunas stories before Bobby and Chris' heads explode (which, after the comments sections in some of those stories, I'm sure some of the other commenters would be fine with).
The game tonight is at 9 p.m. CT on TNT. I don't know, nor do I care enough to search for, who is broadcasting the game tonight. But considering it's a national television broadcast, I can safely assume there's going to be a lot of "THE ROCKETS ARE SEEKING REVENGE AGAINST THE TEAM THAT KNOCKED THEM OUT OF THE PLAYOFFS, MARV" talk.
No. Stop.
Harden and Howard won't be playing. Ty Lawson seems like he'll play (yay!). Outside of him meshing more with his new teammates, this game is hopelessly meaningless. Unless the Rockets win. In which case: in your face, Warriors. We are the captain now.
