Former coach/GM Flip Saunders on Sunday afternoon passed away at 60 years old. Last season Saunders coached the Timberwolves and had been undergoing treatment for Hodgkin's Lymphoma.
Saunders has been around the basketball and the NBA for decades and has touched many players throughout the NBA including members of the Rockets. The players who served under Saunders — and competed against him on the other side of the court — took to social media after the news break to give their condolences.
RIP Flip. We lost an incredible man, thankful for everything he's done for me. Prayers to the Saunders family and @Timberwolves. @NBA

Head coach Kevin McHale is not on twitter but if was he would surely send out his condolences as well. McHale and Saunders have been woven together dating back to their playing days in Minnesota.
