Houston Rockets vs. New York Knicks game preview

The Rockets return to Houston to take on the New York Knicks.

Adam Hunger-USA TODAY Sports

It's hard to figure out what the most wrong thing is with the Rockets.

Is it effort? Is it shooting? Is is the coaching? Is it chemistry? Is it injuries?

Well, tonight the Rockets take on a New York Knicks team that is feeling pretty good about themselves. They just went into Oklahoma CIty and beat the Thunder. Meanwhile, Carmelo Anthony is doing Melo things and Kristaps Porzingis is averaging 13/9 and has taken the city by storm. The Knicks sit at 7-6 and are currently the 9 seed in the East.

Meanwhile, the Rockets suck. They can't make a shot and too many players are hurt. There's still a distinct lack of effort too. Oh, and Dwight Howard will be out tonight since it's a back-to-back. Luckily for the Rockets, there's still a glut of teams hanging around .500 in the West. As it stands, Golden State and San Antonio will likely be the top 2 seeds. After that it's all a mystery right now.

Tip-off is at 7pm CST and the game can be seen on Root Sports Southwest.

Also, huge thanks to Danny for covering for me with the Memphis preview.
