From one Los Angeles to the other, Houston is having their fill of California Love.
The Rockets will play a Clippers team that battled the San Antonio Spurs last night. The Rockets have an extra day of rest and should be feeling at least a little confident after beating the Clippers in LA earlier this season.
Last season, the Clippers were relatively injury-free except for a stint without Blake Griffin and Chris Paul's injury in the playoffs that forced him to miss two games against Houston. So far this year the Clip Show has continued that trend, with Chris Paul missing 5 of their first 27 games. I'm not sure if this is luck or good minute management by Doc Rivers, but it's just an observation.
The Rockets will be without Ty Lawson tonight and on Monday. With Lawson's chief contributions being never looking at the basket and acting like a terrified toddler on offense, his presence will likely not be missed.
Tip-off is at 7pm CST.
