This offseason James Harden jumped ship from Nike to Adidas. He signed a deal worth $200 million over 13 years, and Adidas dropped a truck full of shoes off at his house. Now he has first commerical out:
The commercial shows clips made specifically for the commercial, the Taiwanese Animators take on Harden's Shoe deal, and BdotAdot5's impersonation of Harden.
Harden says over the video:
Real talk. Be who you are. Do what you feel, always. Because those who mind, don't matter. Those who matter, they don't mind at all. ("Creators Never Follow" text shown on the screen) You still here.
The lowest hanging fruit of this commercial is the slogan "Creators Never Follow". It would explain why Harden can't follow his man on defense or follow the ball on the boards. The only place James Harden can be 'creative' is on offense.
If you have a better joke leave it in the comments.
