One night after their return to relevance in the Western Conference standings hit a major speed bump in Brooklyn with another loss to the lowly Nets, the Rockets look to get back on track in a second straight East coast road match, this time against the 9-10 Washington Wizards.
Things to watch for are:
How will the minutes break down at the small forward position with Trevor Ariza unable to play? Marcus Thornton, Corey Brewer and maybe even the newly recalled K.J. McDaniels will see time.
Will James Harden rebound after his 10-point, 2-9 shooting performance in Brooklyn or is this the start of a slump?
Will Donatas Motiejunas' minutes increase after playing just 6 and 7 minutes respectively in his first two games back?
The Rockets can't afford many more losses to under .500 teams. Hopefully they get back on track tonight in Washington.
