James Harden has a sprained ankle, questionable for Friday's game

The MVBeard twisted it last night against the Clippers.

Everyone take a deep breath. You may want to sit down as well. James Harden has a sprained ankle, and he's questionable for Friday night's game against Brooklyn. He sprained the ankle in the fourth quarter of last night's win against the Clippers.

Here's the moment, via Bear Heiser:

James stepped on Chris Paul's foot when driving the lane, and you can see he was in obvious pain. Amazingly, the MVBeard finished the game.

Obviously, this could be a lot worse. If he's not even a straight "out" for one game, he's day-to-day. And to add to the luck, the Brooklyn Nets are coming to town, and they're 23-32. Every game's important in the all-out war for playoff seeding in the West, but maybe the Rockets could still steal a game against a weaker foe. And hey, then Kevin McHale would HAVE to play K.J. McDaniels!

Still, the smart money is on Harden suiting up on Friday night, being the MVP and all. One game aside, looks like he and the Rockets dodged a bullet.
