Terrence Jones started Thursday's game against the Nuggets hot, scoring 10 points in the opening eight minutes of the game. Unfortunately, that was it. Jones left the game in the first quarter. The Rockets head coach Kevin McHale stated that Jones had a rib injury:
McHale said Jones (ribs) is at the hospital & will be observed over night. "I think Terrence will be done for a little bit. He's sore."

Jones is "just" sore but he's spending the night in the hospital? That's a bit of a conflict. Hopefully it's just precautionary. Jones as already been through enough this season, missing most of 2014-2015 season with nerve issues. Jones couldn't feel his legs for a period of time and now he could possibly have a rib or internal injuries.
Since the All-Star Break, Jones has posted 14.5 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 1.7 blocks in 30.7 minutes. The Rockets can ill afford to be without Jones with Dwight Howard out and Donatas Motiejunas hitting a wall with a minutes jump this season.
The Rockets are back in action on Saturday against the Suns in Houston at 7:00 PM.
