The bodies continue to pile up on the injury report.

Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports

The Rockets announced that forward Donatas Motiejūnas will miss one to two weeks with back pain. D-Mo was added to the injury report after the Rockets' 95-93 win over Pelicans on Wednesday.

Josh Smith will get the start for the first time January 2. The Rockets have also called up rookie Clint Capela to fill in the roster.

Also noted that Kostas Papanikolaou is getting closer to returning. Papanikolaou has missed over a month with a ankle injury.

Motiejūnas joins Terrence Jones (collapsed lung), Patrick Beverly (torn ligaments), and Papanikolaou out for tonight's game.
