The Rockets announced that forward Donatas Motiejūnas will miss one to two weeks with back pain. D-Mo was added to the injury report after the Rockets' 95-93 win over Pelicans on Wednesday.

Josh Smith will get the start for the first time January 2. The Rockets have also called up rookie Clint Capela to fill in the roster.
The Rockets have recalled @CapelaClint from the @RGVVipers. He has averaged 16.1 points, 9.7 rebounds & 3.0 blocks in 37 games with RGV.

Also noted that Kostas Papanikolaou is getting closer to returning. Papanikolaou has missed over a month with a ankle injury.
