The Rockets will have at least one part of their starting frontcourt active tonight, with Terrence Jones coming back from a partially collapsed lung to play against the Kings. DeMarcus Cousins appears likely to play, but Dwight Howard is a big question mark. Kevin McHale is deciding whether he wants his big man against the Kings tonight or the Mavericks tomorrow.
Either way, the Rockets need this win. It's one of the last bad teams on their schedule, as AK covered in the game preview, and they have to stay tight not only to catch Memphis, but to keep the surging Spurs and Clippers at bay. If they can sweep the back-to-back, the Rockets will be in much better position to play Dallas in the 2-7 matchup.
This is a big one, and hopefully the Toyota Center crowd is as fired up as they should be.
