Houston Rockets top five stories of the week

These were the top five stories about the Houston Rockets on the Internet this week.

Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

1. The battle for MVP is ridiculously close. CBS Sports' Matt Moore blesses us with Part 1 of a four-part series. He talkes about James Harden and Stephen Curry's ridiculous ways to score. Let it be known that Moore is not a Harden-hater. This is one of the best bits of statistical analysis I've read on Harden this year, probably the best.

2. The Rockets can win it all with a healthy Dwight Howard, says Sports of Earth's Michael Pina.

3. Is Patrick Beverley's injury actually a blessing in disguise for the Houston Rockets?

4. Daryl Morey should win Executive of the Year, and Kevin McHale and Corey Brewer should get votes for Coach of the Year and Sixth Man of the Year, respectively.

5. Thirteen reasons Harden should be MVP. The race gets No. 1 and 5 because it's easily the most compelling story in the league right now.
