Dwight Howard has had an interesting summer.
He was on Animal Planet's "Tanked," getting a new terrarium for his 50 snakes. He showed up at an Astros game in a huge hat and a tiny shirt. His Breathe Again campaign seems to be going strong, as he tries to heal the country of its racial woes through positivity and hugs.
Yesterday, almost every important, signed player on the Rockets showed up to Vegas to watch the non-roster guys win their first Summer League game. James Harden, Trevor Ariza, Patrick Beverley and Donatas Motiejunas were all there, while Nick Johnson, Clint Capela, Sam Dekker and Montrezl Harrell didn't play. Terrence Jones wasn't there, but I don't see how you can blame him. Where was Dwight Howard?
San Diego.
If you think a Flipbook set to Kanye West was all the Instagramming Dwight Howard did while he was dressed as the biggest goddamn Predator you've ever seen, you couldn't be more wrong.
And, the coup de grace:
Dwight Howard had a great Friday.
