No question that Hakeem Olajuwon is the greatest player in franchise history. Today as a part of the NBA Africa exhibition game in Johannesburg, Olajuwon, 52, put Rockets uniform back on. Olajuwon got the ball in the post with the Orlando Magic's Nikola Vucevic defending him.
Olajuwon put the "Dream Shake" on Vucevic and hit a fade-away for two points.
Ooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhh! Get'em Hakeem.
They should have just stopped the game right there. Sure, it wasn't as crisp as it was 20 years ago. But, it was still great to see. Olajuwon reminds everyone how truly great his post moves were in his prime.
NBA Africa exhibition game is the first NBA game played in Africa. As part of the arena setup, Olajuwon's jersey number was hanging from the rafters. Saturday's exhibition game is a part of the International Basketball Federation and NBA's annual Basketball Without Borders Africa program.
Sorry, I need go clean myself up now after watching the vine like a 1,000 times.
