James Harden celebrated his 26th birthday last night with, you guessed it, his girlfriend, Khloe Kardashian. Although the celebrity couple has only been dating for about a month, Khloe treated Harden to a birthday bash on the open sea.
According to Us Weekly, over 200 people were celebrating on Fantasea Yacht docked in Marina Del Rey, Calif. Among the notable guests were NBA players Trevor Ariza and Baron Davis, Kanye West, and (naturally) the whole Kardashian/Jenner clan.
Because a bourgeois, white dress-coded yacht party isn't fancy enough for a birthday party, there was also a 15 minutes fireworks show. According to TMZ, the display woke up several residents and city officials are apparently not too happy.
In a perfect world, I'd like to see Harden celebrating his birthday with his teammates, not the Kardashians. On the other hand, Harden has a lot going for him and he can obviously celebrate however he'd like. And at least Ariza was on the yacht with him.
The 26 year old probably had a hell of a night full of adult beverages, friends, fireworks, and presents. Among those presents is the upcoming release of NBA 2K16, in which Harden is featured on one of the three covers. The game is set to be available in about a month.
