The G.O.A.T. Rocket, Hakeem Olajuwon lost his college mentor, Moses Malone, who might be the runner-up for that title. On Sunday, Moses passed away at 60 years old.
Sports reporter David Nuño, of ABC13 KTRK-TV in Houston, spoke with Hakeem about the three-time NBA MVP and Hall of Fame. Olajuwon heard about Malone’s passing from his brother and was shocked.
Olajuwon says "Moses was my mentor. Before I even played on the court in college. I had the opportunity to watch him and play against him."

Olajuwon told Nuño that Malone is underrated among the greats. Saying that when the NBA pays tribute to great players, they overlook him. The interview shifted from the Rockets' past, to the 2015 Rockets. Nuño asked Olajuwon about the Rockets chances of winning the NBA championship.
Olajuwon on 2015 #Rockets: the west is so tough but we took right steps to compete at that level. They know they have an opportunity to win"
