Rockets vs. Pacers game thread: True challenges

The Pacers are a good team who is not a rival.

Thomas B. Shea-USA TODAY Sports

The Rockets sit at 18-19, miraculously inside the playoffs. Montrezl Harrell has injected the team with a burst of energy. James Harden is trying more on the defensive end of late. The Rockets have won the last handful of games when neither team has reached the 90-point plateau.

I, for one, have no problem with the Rockets turning into a grind-it-out, defensive basketball team. Considering their personnel and shooting, it might make a whole lot of sense. I'm intrigued to see how this style of play sustains against teams/games with little motivation, like one against an Eastern Conference opponent.
