Houston comes into tonight on a 2-game skid after dropping away games at the second and third-best teams in the Western Conference.
The Washington Wizards have lost five of their last six games. Those six games have been all over the place, with blowouts and close games both included.
In the first matchup between these two teams, Houston used a big fourth quarter to pull away from the Wizards and collect a 109-103 win behind 42 points from James Harden and a strong finish from Jason Terry. For the Wizards, John Wall was a rebound away from a triple-double. Bradley Beal had an awful night with 1-7 shooting from deep to go with 7 turnovers. Now he's coming off the bench since breaking his nose and suffering a concussion. Garrett Temple still gives them some solid shooting in the starting rotation and Beal just gives them another dimension off the bench for now.
Nene did not play in the first meeting but he'll be there tonight. For Houston, Trevor Ariza missed the contest after hurting his back in Brooklyn.
Tip-off is at 7pm CST.
