Patrick Beverley is the player opposing fans love to hate and opposing point guards hate to play. Tonight, he'll get his first game action of the season against a PG who's quickly become an All-Time Rockets killer.
Nene is out, but the Blazers' inside presence is Miles Plumlee and it goes downhill from there. Clint Capela should feast, Montrezl Harrell shouldn't be played off the floor. The Blazers don't have a perimeter defender who can give James Harden a ton of problems — unless they decide to do some funky switches and put Al-Farouq Aminu on the Beard — and the Rockets now have perimeter defense that can hold up to a Lillard-C.J. McCollum backcourt.
This should be fun. 7 p.m. CT at the Toyota Center.
