There's been plenty of talk about Dwight Howard and his time in Houston. You've read it and I've read it.
I will briefly say that I liked Dwight a lot and appreciate what he did for the team and the city. He always said the right things and even though things didn't end the way either side would have wanted, he waited until after his tenure in Houston was over to air his grievances. I'm going to stop there because we could talk about D-12 all day. And I don't mean the rap group.
The Hawks had a crazy offseason. In addition to bringing in Howard, they re-signed Paul Millsap and Kent Bazemore, lost Al Horford to the Boston Celtics, and traded Jeff Teague to Indiana (for Taurean Prince out of Baylor).
Atlanta started the season 3-0, but have since lost to the Lakers (lots of teams doing that now) and last night to the Wizards in Washington.
So, with two nights off playing a team on the second half of a back-to-back, Houston should have the advantage here. They should run the Hawks up and down the court as much as possible and force Atlanta's shooters to run around on defense.
Tip-off is at 6:30pm CT.
