Boxing Day Battle - Rockets versus Suns

The Rockets look to get back on the winning path after a loss to the Grizzlies.

Look at those beauties. I could stand to see more of them.

The presents are opened, the egg nog consumed, the naps taken. Now we are onto Christmas Day (observed) for a battle between the Rockets and the Phoenix Suns. You could also call it Boxing Day, and conclude that public holidays after a weekend are a bit of a rip-off. You also could ponder why so many people need to go to work right away, but that's the USA these days.

Anyhow, after not appearing on Christmas in their spiffy Christmas uniforms this year (which you can understand given the underwhelming Rockets performance across the whole season last year) the Rockets will now play a game on Christmas Day Observed. This is pretty uninteresting isn't it? It is to me, yet the 150 word requirement is in sight.

So here's a question. The NBA Twitterati darlings Timberwolves got a Christmas game. I submit that, certainly, last year's Rockets disappointed. They did make the playoffs, though. Despite all the warm fuzzies, the TWolves still aren't good. And they certainly don't appear to be the 50 win team many predicted. Do they really rate Christmas Day?

Poll

If allowed, should the Rockets wear their Christmas uniforms today anyway, since it is, after all, Christmas Day (Observed)?
