Trevor Ariza is questionable for tonight’s game

His back has not healed all the way.

Trevor Ariza will be listed as questionable for Monday's game against the Boston Celtics with back spasms, per the Houston Chronicle's Jonathan Feigen

Ariza was hit with spasms late in Friday's game against the Denver Nuggets. After a timeout late in the game, Ariza collapsed on the sideline and after trainers tended to him for a few minutes, he would make his way back to the locker room. With the time left in the game and the score, there was no chance he was going to make it back in, even if he was able to play.

Sunday was the team's first practice after getting back home from the trip, and head coach Mike D'Antoni shared with the media that Ariza would be listed as day to day.

With the team looking toward the future, it could be best to sit Ariza and wait until he's 100 percent healthy or as close to that as he can get.

If Ariza doesn't play Monday night, expect Corey Brewer and Sam Dekker's minutes to get a bump, and maybe even a K.J. McDaniels cameo

The Rockets’ next game is Wednesday at home against the Los Angeles Lakers.
