Rockets finally return home to battle Celtics

The Rockets are actually back at the Toyota Center tonight and have some good news to go along with it.

It's a good day for the Rockets and for fans. Popular big man Donatas Motiejunas is officially part of the team again after Houston matched the 4-year, $37 million offer made by the Brooklyn Nets. D-Mo won't be on the floor tonight, and he'll have to pass a physical and likely get a little practice time in with the squad before he gets some court time. But the Rockets are a better team today than they were yesterday, and that is good news.

There's more positive this evening for the Rockets too. Forward Trevor Ariza, who has been suffering from back spasms, is ready to go for tonight's game.

He might not be at full strength, and I wouldn't be surprised to see Sam Dekker get some extra burn to lighten Ariza's load a bit, but having Trev on the court is always a good thing for the Rockets.

Make sure to check out the game preview for tonight if you haven't already. Jeremy stepped in to sub for AK and did a mighty fine job offering up some pregame thoughts.

Tonight's contest with the Celtics starts at 7:00pm CST and is the feature game on NBA TV.
